The PL-D721MU-S-BL-AF9.6 camera based on an OnSemi Vita1300 sensor, with its USB 3.0 interface links together the benefits of high frame rate CMOS technology with the high-speed data throughput of USB 3.0 technology.
The PL-D721MU-S-BL-AF9.6 incorporates the CASPIAN M12-316-9.6 electronic, focus-controllable S-mount lens. Leveraging Varioptic electrowetting liquid lens technology, the cameras deliver fast, noiseless, controllable autofocus from 10 cm to infinity.
This monochrome camera provides low noise images for outstanding value in a broad range of industrial applications.
It features a 1.3 megapixel (1280 x 1024) resolution imager capable of 150 fps at full resolution.
The PL-D721MU models of cameras are based on an ON Semiconductor CMOS global shutter sensor with a 1/2” optical format.
The extensive built-in image processing possibilities (image pre-processing) result in outstanding image quality, less load on the system and higher performance.
This camera provides the user choice of 8-bit or 10-bit digitization and a dynamic range of 53dB and 90dB using Extended Shutter.
Board Level Camera: This camera is designed for custom integration into OEM and end-user industrial applications providing an increased degree of mounting flexibility while maintaining the same feature set and image quality of enclosed cameras. The boards are connected to the sensor board via the onboard Molex connector or tethered via a 6” (other lengths are available) flat flex ribbon cable.
PixeLINK USB 3.0 cameras include a number of real-time image pre-processing functions. All functions mentioned below are performed by the FPGA inside the camera – with no additional CPU load – allowing the use of an inexpensive host computer.

PixeLINK’s industry leading SDK uses a common API for all cameras regardless of the chosen interface.

The flexible Region of Interest (ROI) control allows users to operate at higher frame rates by placing a lower resolution “window” on the imager at any location.
